“god knows you’re lonely souls”
“If such a thing as happiness exists, it should be something which resembles limitless nothingness. Nihilism is having nothing, and having nothing to loose. If thats not ‘happiness’ then what is”?
Josie: What happened, Chris?.
Chris: There’s loads of these Chinese lads flipping burgers there. Me and Han Li were having a spliff break, and then Paul, the shift manager, comes along. (…) And She said, “You can’t do that”. Why not? It’s pucking hard fetting people to talk to you. I mean child abuse, it’s a bit depressing. So my theory was, reel the in with the free porn, then get to serious stuff. (…) So I said, “Why can’t people bring their own glasses to the bar?”. No wonder this country’s turning obese. But Morris said that was the job, and if I didn’t like it, I could puck off. So I told him he was a pitty boss and a pastard and he could pucking shove his pub polo up his pap’s-eye, stupid prick.
Jossie: I think one slipped through there, Chris.
Chris: Stupid punt.
I want to cry.
I love this response. ;____;
Bleach has been going on for 11 years now, and even though we’re beginning the final arc, it’s going to be a loooooooong one. Last year Kubo did say he had the series planned for another 10 years so I expect 9 years for this arc (although that seems incredibly long for one arc… I suspect it will be made of smaller arcs). Add to the fact that he said he’s been planning this one for 5 years makes me confident that when Bleach ends, it will end in such an amazing way that won’t make me wish for Bleach to continue forever and ever. Even though Bleach has been, like OP said, like “the love of my life.” No exaggeration :(
Everybody knows that all good things must come to an end, all series must reach a finale. But there’s still such a finality about it with it being stated so casually that this is the final arc in this week’s WSJ.
I feel the same way. At first, I was in denial - and to be honest, I still am - it must have been the translation. But no, it really says “final arc”. And even though we’ll still have a couple of years, knowing it’s the last one… it makes me all weird and sad.
But yes, if Kubo makes awesome things without planning~, like some say, imagine what this arc will be like if he’s been planning it for 5 years. And with all this Repeat and Reboot info we’ve gotten, I really feel he’s putting all the missing pieces into place, closing the loopholes and getting to the bottom of the plot. And preparing a grand finale to our beloved Bleach.
